Being a home grown Ashevillian, I strive to leave this beautiful part of the world a better place for having the pleasure of living here. I see every day ways to make my environment better for other and myself.
There is something inside me that pushes me to expand myself by working harder, smarter, stronger, and more efficiently. When a new idea sparks in my mind, I have hope for achieving creative idea. The feeling of satisfaction, and completing a project on time, on budget, and creatively is why I do what I do. It is the greatest force driving me – well, that and strong willed partners who compel me to be a better person today than I was yesterday.
When I forget just how fortunate I am, to live where I do; have the friends and family I have; do the satisfying work that I do; with the incredible people I work with, and work the way that I choose – I remind myself that I need to quit my whining, put my big girl panties on and suck it up – because life does not revolve around me.

I push myself to achieve my own ambitions in life. I’m excited to wake and learn something new I can share and implement with others. I continue to grow and learn every day. I am blessed to work with two incredible women who support and encourage me daily. It is exciting to go to work with these two every day.
Since moving to WNC in 2004, I’ve loved exploring the outdoors. You can often find me hiking with my Labradoodle Finn on one of our many hiking trails. Finn and I are often spotted daily around our hometown of Weaverville visiting the many amazing businesses and saying hello to the locals.

Living in the WNC area makes me appreciate what we have to offer to those around us. Not just the beauty of the mountains that God provided, but everything they have to offer; streams, hiking trails and old home sites. There is a lot of history here. I have enjoyed the craftsmanship that has been inspired from the materials that are found in the Great Smoky Mountains. There are so many talented folks. I enjoy hearing the stories of old crafters and the handmade quilts (which I am learning) and spinning the wheel.
I have grown in the last 4 years with the help of two special ladies. They have helped me broaden my horizons and have encouraged me to learn new things…even if it is by leaving my comfort zone. I know they want me to succeed and I couldn’t do it without them. I enjoy and anticipate providing excellent customer service. No doubt when one is in need, we all pull together. One of my favorite quotes is, “Practice random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty” (Anne Herbert). When we are kind to others…then the ball is in our court.
